Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by A1 Landscaping Decking and Fencing Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Estimates and quotes

All estimates are based on the information and site conditions known at the time of the quote. Final pricing may change if the scope of work, materials, or site conditions change after the estimate is provided. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding.

3. Scheduling and weather

Outdoor work is weather dependent. We reserve the right to delay or reschedule services due to unsafe conditions, heavy rain, extreme temperatures, snow, or other events beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to complete work on schedule.

4. Payments

Payment terms will be outlined in your quote or invoice. A deposit may be required for larger projects. Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, cheque, and e-transfer.

5. Cancellations

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits may be refundable or transferable depending on the timing of the cancellation and any materials already ordered.

6. Snow removal plans

Snow removal visits are triggered by snowfall amounts and conditions described in your chosen plan. The monthly plan includes up to 8 cleanups per month for snowfalls over 5 cm. Seasonal plans cover November through March. We cannot guarantee clearing at a specific time but will respond as quickly and safely as possible after a snowfall.

7. Property access and liability

You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to inform us of underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or hazards that may affect the work. We carry appropriate insurance and will take reasonable care, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage or conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began.

8. Warranties

We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms for materials and labour will be provided with your project quote. Warranties do not cover damage caused by neglect, misuse, weather extremes, or unauthorized modifications.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with the last updated date.
